Staff who treat you like youre more of a nuisance than anything. Slow service, bland food and no coffee in the afternoons! Location is the only thing going for it, but can enjoy this for free from the jetty out front
Great location. Friendly staff and good variety of meals. Quick service. Most of the food was great, with the scallops being exceptional. Unfortunately, the duck tasted bitter and unseasoned.
No coffee between 3pm and 5.30pm? Are you serious? No breakfast until 9am? Do the decision makers understand the other cafes in town are pumping from 8am and also for coffee & cake in the afternoons? This is the third time we have tried to give them our money and they declined. No more sorry.
The best service from the most wonderful staff. Meals were just glorious especially the dumplings for entree. Our most favorite place in Paynesville.
We had no service. Walked in and was ignored from the start. Was not given menus and had to get up and get ourselves. Another family came in and was served straight away. They ordered before we were even acknowledged. We had to flag a waitress down and ask about kids menus. She reeled off five options but again no offer of menus. She really didn't care if we ordered. We got up and walked over to the Painesville hotel across the road and was given fantastic service. We would probably still be waiting for service at Pier 70! Don't waste your time.
